JEE MAIN 2026

JEE Main 2026 is a national-level engineering entrance examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to B.E., B.Tech, B.Arch, and B.Planning programmes. The examination is conducted in two sessions through computer-based mode, giving candidates an opportunity to improve their performance by appearing in both sessions. It evaluates students' knowledge, conceptual understanding, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The best NTA score obtained by a candidate across the sessions is considered for preparing the final merit list and ranking. JEE Main 2026 scores are accepted by NITs, IIITs, GFTIs, and several other engineering institutions across India. The examination also serves as the qualifying examination for JEE Advanced 2026, which provides candidates with an opportunity to seek admission to the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).
