2.(2 n+10 ) = 2×2 3 +3×2 4 +….(n–1).2 n +n.2 n+1
On subtracting we get :–
–2 n+10 = 2×2 2 + 2 3 + 2 4 +….2 5 +….2 n – n.2 n+1 – 2
n+10 = 8 +
–n.2 n+1 ⇒ –2
n+10 = 8 + 8.2 n–2 – 8 – n.2 n+1 ⇒ – 2
n+10 = 2 n+1 – n. 2 n+1 ⇒ –2
n+10 = 2 n+1 (1– n)
⇒ –(2 n . 2 10 ) = 2 n . 2(1 – n)
⇒ 2 10 = 2n – 2
⇒ 1024 = 2n – 2
⇒ n = 513
