Sol. cos 3x tan 5x = sin 7x

⇒ cos 3x = sin 7x

∴ x ≠ (2k +1) , cos 5x ≠ 0

∴ cos 3x sin 5x = sin 7x cos 5x

⇒ sin 8x + sin 2x = sin 12x + sin 2x

⇒ sin 12 x – sin 8x = 0

⇒ 2 cos 10x sin 2x = 0

⇒ 2x = n π or 10x = (2m +1)

⇒ x = , (2m +1)

∴ In 0 ≤ x ≤ , there are seven solutions.
