If x, 2x + 2, 3x + 3, are first 3 terms of a G.P. then its 4 th term is -
Text Solution
Verified by ExpertsThe correct answer is:
C
(2x + 2) 2 = x(3x + 3) ⇒ x = –1, –4 ⇒ x = – 4 ( x ≠ –1)
∴ Nos are – 4, – 6, – 9
∴ a = – 4, r = 3/2
Hence T 4 = (– 4) (3/2) 3 = –27/2
