⇒ 5 (2m – 5) – 5 (m – 2) – [(m – 1) (2m – 5)
– (m – 2) (m 2 – 7)] = 0
⇒ m 3 – 4m 2 + 5m – 6 = 0
⇒ (m – 3) (m 2 – m + 2) = 0
m = 3 is the only root, but for m = 3 the given lines becomes parallel. Thus the given lines can only be parallel for m = 3
