Text Solution
Verified by ExpertsThe correct answer is:
22
(22)
(1 – cot 1 ° ) (1 – cot 44 ° )
= 1 – cot 1 ° – cot 44 ° + cot 1 ° cot 44 °
cot 45 ° = cot (1 ° + 44 ° ) =
∴ 1 – cot 1 ° – cot 44 ° + cot 1 ° cot 44 ° = 2
Similarly (1 – cot 2 ° ) (1 – cot 43 ° ) = 2 and so on
Total pairs are 22
∴ (1–cot 1 ° ) (1–cot 2 ° ) …..(1 – cot 44 ° ) = 2 22 = 2 n ⇒ n = 22
