The correct answer is:
C

4a = 2 ⇒ a = Vertex ≡ (–2, 3)

So parabola ≡ (y – 3) 2 = 2 (x + 2)

Equation of normal to parabola

(y – 3) = m(x + 2) – m – m 3 ⇒ y = mx + m + 3 – m

3 also given y = 2x + k

m = 2 and k = m + 3 – m

3 k = 2 + 3 – (2)

3 ⇒ k = 5 – 4 = 1
