Sol. f(x) is a polynomial function
⇒ f(x) is continuous & differentiation both

Now, f (1) = 0
f(3) = 0
⇒ f(x) satisfy all condition of rolle's theorem then
f ' = 0 ⇒ 3c 2 – 12c + 11 = 0
⇒ c = 2 ± 1/
∈ (1, 3)
