Sol. 
x 2 – 5x + 5 = 1 x 2 + 4x – 60 = 0 x 2 – 5x + 5 = –1
x 2 – 5x + 4 = 0 x = –10, x = 6 x 2 – 5x + 6 = 0
x = 1, x = 4 x = 2, 3
at x=2 x 2 + 4x – 60 = –48 (even)
∴ x=2 is valid
at x=3,x 2 + 4x – 60 = –39 (odd)
∴ x = 3 is invalid
x = 1, 2, 4, 6, –10
