B

80 = 40 + 50 + 60 – 2 (n(A ∩ B) + n(B ∩ C) + n (C ∩ A)) + 30

⇒ n(A ∩ B) + n (B ∩ C) + n(C ∩ A) = 50

Required number of members T = n(A ∩ B) + n(B ∩ C) + n(C ∩ A) – 2n (A ∩ B ∩ C)

= 50 – 2 ×10 = 30
