The correct answer is:

: Out of 17 tickets in the bag one ticket can be drawn in 17 ways.

Now, out of 8 even numbered tickets, namely, 2 , one can be drawn in 8 ways.

Tickets are drawn without replacing

So, we have to select 7 even numbered tickets out of remaining 16.
