Aorta is the largest artery in the body that begins at the left ventricle and supplies oxygenated blood to the various parts of the body. Pulmonary artery carries deoxygenated blood from the right ventricle to the lungs for oxygenation. Pulmonary vein brings the oxygenated blood from the lungs to the left atrium. Capillaries are single celled thick vessels which help in gaseous exchange in various tissues in the body.
