Mass of disc (X), mx = π R 2 t ρ

Where ρ = density of material of disc

∴ l X = m X R 2 = R 2 t ρ R 2

l X = πρ R 4 .......(i)

Again mass of disc (Y)

m y = π = (4R) 2 ρ = 4 π R 2 t ρ

and l Y = m Y (4R 2 ) = 4 π R 2 t ρ .16R 2

⇒ l Y = 32 π t ρ R 4 ......(ii)

⇒ = 64

∴ l Y = 64 l x
