The correct answer is:
3

3

Sol. %R.H =

⇒ Partial vapour pressure of water =

= 7.6 torr

⇒ No. of moles of water vapour in the room

=

Now using CaO + H 2 O → Ca(OH) 2

wt. of CaO required = = Kg

= 2.912 Kg ~ 3 Kg
