Δ T f = 1.86 × 1 = 1.86

Now, Δ T f =

Or = = 0.342

w + W = 1000

w solute = 254.84 gm

= 745.16 gm.

Δ T = = 3.534

or W 1 = 392.18 gm

Therefore amount of ice separated

= W – W 1 = 745.16 – 392.18

= 352.98 gm ~ 353 gm.
