The correct answer is:
A

3.6 M solution means 3.6 mole of H 2 SO 4 is present in 1000 ml of solution

∴ Mass of 3.6 moles of H 2 SO 4 is = 3.6 × 98 g = 352.8 g

∴ Mass of H 2 SO 4 in 1000 ml of solution = 352.8 g

Given, 29g of H 2 SO 4 is present in 100 g of solution

∴ 352.8 g of H 2 SO 4 is present in × 352.8 = 1216 g of solution

Now density = = = 1.216 g/mL = 1.22 g/mL
