The correct answer is:
A

10 –3 g NH 3 in 100 g solution

one liter water has mass = 1000 × 1 g

As NH 3 is very less hence we can say

100 g water has 10 –3 g NH 3

∴ 1000 g water has = × 1000 g = 10 –2 g NH 3

= mole NH 3 = 5.88 × 10 –4 mole NH 3 .
