The correct answer is:
A

Δ T b = 2ºC; m a = 2.5 g

m solvent = 100 g

K b = 0.76 K. kg. mol –1

P solution = ?

Δ T b = K b × m

2 = 0.76 × m ∴ m =

= m × MM × 10 –3 ∴ = × 18 × 10 –3

760 – P = ∴ 760 =

∴ P = 760 torr = 725.6 torr 724 torr
