Dry air was successively passed through a solution of 5g solute in 80 g water and then through pure water. The loss in weight of solution was 2.5 g and that of pure water was 0.04 g. What is mol. wt of solute ?
Text Solution
Verified by ExpertsThe correct answer is:
70
(70)
Loss in weight of solution ∝ P S
Loss in weight of solution ∝ P 0 – P S
Also,
By. eq and we get
⇒ m = 70.3
