B is hybridized.
3 centre 2 electron bond which is called bridge bonding or banana bond. There are two different bonds that is 3 centre 2 electron and 2 centre 2 electron. So, bond lengths are different. Molecule is non-planar as 4 terminal hydrogen atoms and two boron atoms lie in one plane & rest two hydrogen lies in another plane.
