Sol. Let R be the point of intersection of plane and line passing through P and parallel to given line.
So, R is (1 + λ , – 2 + 4 λ , 3 + 5 λ )
substituting co-ordinates of R in plane
2 + 2 λ – 6 + 12 λ – 12 – 20 λ + 22 = 0 ⇒ 6 λ = 6 ⇒ λ = 1
So , R is (2,2,8)
