Sol. Total number of ways out of 4 consonant and 2 vowels is
2 C 1 × { 4 C 1 + 4 C 2 + 4 C 3 + 4 C 4 } + 2 C 2 × { 4 C 1 + 4 C 2 + 4 C 3 + 4 C 4 }
= 2 × {4 + 6 + 4 + 1} + 1 × [4 + 6 + 4 + 1] = 2 × 15 +15 = 45
