Cortisol is secreted from the adrenal gland. The zona fasciculata region of adrenal cortex secretes cortisol, corticosterone and cortisone. These hormones are involved in maintaining glucose homeostasis.

Thyroid gland secretes thyroxine or tetraiodothyronine
and triiodothyronine
