Consider the reaction, 2Cl 2 (g) + 2H 2 O(g) 4HCl(g) + P 2 (g) ; Δ Hº = + 113 kJ

The four gases, Cl 2 , H 2 O, HCl and O 2 , are mixed and the reaction is allowed to come to equilibrium. Each operation is to be considered separately.
