(i) Water present in ionisation sphere is absorbed by conc. H 2 SO 4 (dehydrating agent). If Cl – present as counter ion then reacts with, AgNO 3 to give white precipitate of AgCl.
(ii) With F – ligand, metal ion has electron configuration, t 2g 2, 1, 1 e g 1,1 .

(iii) With NO 2 ¯ ligand, electron configuration in crystal field splitting for Co 3+ will be t 2g 2,2,2 e g 0 i.e. no unpaired electrons.
(iv) Complex contains one Cl – as counter ion.
One mole of complex = one mole of Cl –
As two mole of Cl – gives one mole of PbCl 2 .
∴ One mole of Cl – will give ½mole of PbCl 2 .
(v) Only two geometrical isomers are possible of [CoBrCl(en) 2 ] + .
