Neet Cut-off

The National Testing Agency (NTA) successfully conducted the NEET-UG 2025 (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Undergraduates) on May 4, 2025, across 557 cities in India and various international centers. The results are scheduled to be released on June 12, 2025, along with the official category-wise cutoff scores and qualifying percentiles.
Each year, NTA specifies minimum qualifying scores for different categories, which determine whether a candidate is eligible for MBBS admissions. These cutoffs are crucial as they reflect the minimum marks required to qualify for admission to medical colleges across the country.
For NEET 2025, the scores will be used for filling over 1,00,000 MBBS seats in 612 medical colleges and 315 dental colleges throughout India.

NEET 2025 Expected Cut-Off (Category-Wise)

The expected NEET 2025 cut-off marks will be different for each category. This is because the number of seats and level of competition varies for each group. For example, students in the General category usually need higher marks than those in reserved categories like OBC, SC, and ST.
Based on the trends from past years, here is a general idea of what the cut-off might look like:

  • General (UR): 720 – 155
  • OBC: 154 – 125
  • SC: 154 – 125
  • ST: 154 – 125
  • EWS: 720 – 155
  • General PwD: 154 – 135
  • SC/ST/OBC PwD: 135 – 125
  • These are not fixed numbers. They can go higher or lower depending on how students perform in the NEET 2025 exam. It’s better to score higher than the expected range to stay on the safer side.
