It is balanced Wheatstone bridge, therefore 10 Ω Ω resistance is ineffective. In the upper arm 4 Ω Ω and 8 Ω Ω are in series, their effective resistance is

similarly, in the lower arm resistances 2 Ω Ω and 4 Ω Ω are also in series their effective resistance is
R L = 2 + 4 = 6 Ω Ω
