A smooth vertical tube having two different sections is open from both ends and equipped with 2 pistons of different areas. Each piston can slide. One mole of ideal gas is enclosed between the pistons tied with a non-stretchable thread. The cross-sectional area of the upper piston is Δ S = 10 cm 2 greater than that of the lower one. The combined mass of the two pistons is equal to 5 kg. The outside air pressure is 1 atm. If gas between the pistons be heated by (n × 10 –1 ) Kelvin so that pistons shift through 5 cm, then what is the value of 'n' ?
