B

At equilibrium potential of both sphere becomes same if charge of sphere one x and other sphere Q – x then where Q = 4 × 10 –2 C

3x = Q – x

4x = Q

x = = 1 × 10 –2

Q' = Q – x = 3 × 10 –2 C
