When the loop enters the magnetic field the magnetic flux in it changes till it covers a distance 'a'. Hence the EMF induced in the surface after that flux in it remains constant till its back portion has not entered in magnetic field. No emf is induced during this time. when it is out of magnetic field the magnetic flux in it decreases. EMF is again induced in the circuit hence total time for which emf is induced is .
