is forward biased and is reverse biased and hence current flows from A to B
B
is forward biased and is reverse biased and hence no current flows from B to A and vice-versa
C
and are both forward biased and hence current flows from A to B
D
and are both reverse biased and hence no current flows from A to B and vice-versa

The correct answer is:
B

In the given circuit -side of -n junction, is connected to lower voltage and n -side of p -n to higher voltage.
Thus is reverse biased.
The p -side of junction is at higher potential and n -side of is at lower potential. Therefore is forward biased.
Hence, current flows through the junction B to A.
