Capacity when inner sphere is earthed
$C_2 = 4 \pi \varepsilon_0 b + \frac{4 \pi \varepsilon_0 a b}{b - a} = 4 \pi \varepsilon_0 \left( \frac{b^2}{b - a} \right)$
Difference in capacity = C 2 – C 1 = 4 π π ε ε 0 b
