The correct answer is:
B

Maximum acceleration during journey = slope of CD

= = 160 km hr -2

Distance covered in the asked interval

= Area of rectangle KCGH + Area of Δ Δ CDG.

= (0.25 × 20) + 1/2(40 × 0.25) = 5 + 5 = 10 km
