D

a rel = 0

v rel = 100

100 = v rel × t

t = = 1 sec

v bullet = 100 – 1 × 10

= 90 m/s

v particle = 10 × 1 = 10 m/s

S = 100 × 1 – 1/2 × 10 × 1 = 95 m

= 90 × 0.02 – 10 × 0.03 = 0.05V

V = 30 m/s

h = = 45 m

so from top of tower

45 – 5 = 40 m
