In the hydrogen atom, electronic transitions produce photons whose energies fall in these regions:

Lyman series → UV

Balmer series → Visible

Paschen, Brackett, Pfund → IR

But -rays require much higher energy transitions (nuclear scale), not electronic transitions in H -atom.
So, -rays are not emitted during electron transitions in the hydrogen atom.
