or, P 1 – P 2 =

or, P 2 = P 1 − −

Given: P 1 = 1500n/m 2 , v 1 = 0.4m/s, v 2 = 0.6 m/s,

∴ ∴ P 2 = 1500 – ´ ´ 1 ´ ´ 10 3 [(0.6) 2 – (0.4) 2 ]

or, P 2 = 1500 – 100 = 1400 N/m 2
