gas is then isochorically taken to state B (2P 0 , V 0 , 2T 0 ) and then taken from state B to state C(2P 0 , 2V 0 , 4T 0 ) isobarically.

Total heat absorbed by 1 mole of gas

Δ Q = C V (2P 0 – T 0 ) + C P (4T 0 – 2T 0 )

= RT 0 + R × 2T 0 = RT 0

Total change in temperature from state A to C is
