Then can be resolved into two components, radial component r rad , and axial component r axial . Due to r rad , L will be axial and due to r axial , L will be radially outwards as shown.
So net angular momentum will be as shown in figure whoose value will be constant (|L| = mv λ ). But its direction will change as shown in the figure.
