A spaceship launched vertically up from Mars has reached a height of 320 m and a velocity of 80 m/s at time t = 0. At this instant its controls are switched off. It continues to move up under the influence of Martian gravity (i.e. 3.72 m/s2). At the same instant another spaceship at height 1500 m is moving downward at 25 m/s and slowing down at rate of0.8 m/s2.
